Kychan Dzhakypov Park, once a beloved park of Bishkek residents, will get a second life. "Bakai Bank" and the Ministry of Culture, Information and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic signed an agreement on its reconstruction.

The signing took place in the presence of the Minister of Culture Altynbek Maksutov and the First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Bakai Bank Marat Kakeev.

"The idea for the park redevelopment came when we just opened a new branch of the Bank on Michurina.
The park area has long been in need of landscaping and we are glad that the Ministry of Culture responded positively to our initiative. We want to believe that our project will improve the environmental situation in the area, as well as create comfortable conditions for recreation and entertainment. I hope that in the near future we will open the renewed park together with you, - said Marat Kakeev, addressing the head of the Ministry of Culture.

The start of the work has been set. Based on the recommendations of experts, topographic survey works were carried out, a design project of the park was developed, and the development of a master plan for the reconstruction began.

It should be noted that the project will be implemented in accordance with the requirements of the KR law "On protection and use of historical and cultural heritage".

" Early in February this year, "Bakai Bank" came up with the initiative and initiated negotiations with the Ministry of Culture on the complete reconstruction of the park. There was a lot of work, agreements and approvals. Today's signing of the agreement is the beginning of the implementation of this important project. We express our gratitude to "Bakai Bank" for the initiative to create conditions for the cultural rest of the residents and guests of the city, - said Altynbek Maksutov.

We remind you that the foundation for the modern park, located at the intersection of Abdrakhmanov and Michurin Streets, was laid 136 years ago by the well-known botanist Alexei Fetisov. In 1951, the Palace of Pioneers was built here. In 1963, the park officially received its present name. This unique historical place has been undeservedly forgotten for the last decades.

It should be noted that the project is implemented as part of "25 years - 25 good deeds" events organized by "Bakai Bank" in the jubilee year.
