Dear Clients,
We would like to draw your attention to the increasing cases of phone scams. We urge you to be extremely cautious and not fall for the tricks of fraudsters.
Scammers often call, posing as bank employees, and claim there are suspicious activities on your account. They may assert that someone is trying to take out a loan in your name and offer to install a “protective” app or conduct a video call for identification. Be cautious—this is a scam! Do not answer video calls from unknown numbers.
Fraudsters use various scenarios and typically already possess your basic information, such as your name and phone number. However, under no circumstances should you provide them with your personal data: Tax Identification Number (TIN), passwords, PIN codes, and especially your bank card details. Remember, bank employees never ask for complete card details or one-time codes sent via SMS.
We want to remind you that your funds in Bakai Bank are safe. Please follow the official information on our website and our social media channels.
If you receive a call claiming to be from Bakai Bank, ask for the name, position, and branch of the employee before ending the conversation. Call the bank back at 6111—this call is free from any mobile operator. The operator will confirm whether this employee works with us and, if necessary, connect you directly.
Take care of your finances and stay vigilant!
